If you don’t already have Photoshop you can download a free trial here. Making a panorama photomerge in Photoshop is a little more complicated and time-consuming. In this article, I’ll share the step by step process I use to take and stitch together panorama images using Photoshop.

Start by identifying the most perfect fragment raw image in Lightroom which would be used for overlaying stitch-related flaws. For Photoshop Photo merge, you may consider dragging and dropping the same. In this video Simon Plant walks through the process of manually blending and stitching two photos together. But if you want real quality you’re best to take a series of photos with your camera and create a panorama in Photoshop. Overlay the panorama with strategic pictures and substitute the panorama stitched with Photo merge with mere 2 images. In these situations you may still be able to create the panoramic image, but you will need to stitch the photos manually in Photoshop. However, every auto stitching software will have times when it can’t process your photos for one reason or another. While several options for automatically stitching panoramas have been around for years, Lightroom 6/CC has made it possible to do it without even leaving Lightroom (see this video).

This is going to be a pretty simple tutorial in which we create a panorama using Photoshop’s Photomerge utility. To the photographer a panorama is usually several photographs that are stitched together horizontally to create a seamless picture. One effective way to show off any amazing landscape is to create a panoramic image by combining multiple images and “stitching” them together. A panorama is simply a wide-angled view of a physical space.
